"A Word from Our Pastor"...
GROWTH
Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the
temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their
meat with gladness and singleness of heart. 47 Praising God,
and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to
the church daily such as should be saved. KJV
Dr. Luke's description of that early church is such an
encouraging picture. That first church grew! It grew in an
atmosphere of unity- fellowship- worship- and Praise to God.
Would you not want to a part of a church like that? I believe
we are close: we have a family fellowship atmosphere, our
worship experience improves week by week, yet we are not
growing. Please join me in Prayer that God may show us why we
are not growing!
As we pray, keep inviting- keep witnessing- stay faithful to
the services- draw closer to each other and to our BLESSED
Lord!
1 Cor 3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.
(Holman Christian Standard Bible)
PRAY PLANT WATER
Let's work together to do our part and I believe God will give
the increase.
Because of Christ!

"A Chat with #2"...
We have gone another month with many things happening. The
trip to Columbia to see the Gathers was a great success. There
were 15 people from the church taking the trip. Be looking
for another outing in the future. The Men's Bake-off was
also a great success. There were 12 men who participated in the
bake-off. The top money getter was Dale Hutto with his cake.
The preacher won for the "strangest cake" or "the one most
likely to hurt you, if it fell on your foot." If you did not
come to the bake-off, you missed a great time of fellowship
with others in the church.
Coming up in May the YEA will have an outing on May 31. Our
plans are not definite yet, if we are going to Columbia or
Augusta to the Fun Park. You must come to the next meeting
to get all of the details. The next YEA meeting is May 19,
we will meet at 6pm instead of 7pm. We are going to Little
Moo Farms for a wagon ride then Bible Study followed by
Supper.
I want to invite you all to come out and join us for Sunday
School, we are working to build up our numbers. We have a
class for every age. We are into the second month with our
newest class of young adults. We are continuing a study in
the book of James. It is never too late to come and join us.
Be looking for upcoming opportunities for service to God on
the mission fields of the world both far and near.
May God Bless,
Preacher George
